If you have been charged with a crime involving a motor vehicle, be aware that there are many provisions of the Florida Laws that can be very confusing.  If you get charged with a DUI and you plea guilty or no contest, it will permanently affect your criminal record.  If you enter a plea of guilty or no contest to Knowingly Driving while your License is Suspended three times within 5 years, regardless of the disposition (withold or adjudication), you will be considered a Habitual Traffic Offender under Florida Law.  Being labeled a Habitual Traffic Offender will suspend your license for five years.  These are just a couple of the ramifications of such charges.
